He is best known for editing the action–comedy Mafia Mamma (Bleecker Street) and the comedy–drama Big Time Adolescence (Neon/Hulu), which premiered in the U.S. Dramatic Competition at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival.

As a member of the Television Academy, Waldemar has brought his editorial voice to acclaimed series such as Gentefied (Netflix) and Fantasy Island (FOX). He has also taught at the university level and spent multiple years as an editor at the Sundance Director’s Lab, helping develop and mentor emerging independent filmmakers.
